FAQ

Everything you need to know about VR LAN 2027.

What is VR LAN 2027?
VR LAN 2027 is our next in-person VR gaming weekend, taking place at H20 Esports Campus in Amsterdam on 29-30 October 2027. It brings the VR community together in real life for freeplay, stage matches, social spaces, retro and arcade games, community meetups and whatever chaos happens along the way. Whether you come to compete, watch, hang out or meet online friends in person, you'll fit right in.
When and where is VR LAN 2027?
Dates: 29-30 October 2027 Venue: H20 Esports Campus Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Travel, accommodation and venue information will be added to the website as the event gets closer.
Who is Duckman?
Duckman was the original mascot of our founder's VR esports team, created during the very first tournament week back in 2017. Since then, he's been on the journey with us - from small community tournaments to full VR LAN events - and still represents the fun, community and slightly chaotic energy behind everything we do. He's part mascot, part good luck charm and fully part of VR LAN history.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket gives you access to VR LAN 2027, including the main event space, stage show, social areas, freeplay zones, retro and arcade games room, and any confirmed showcases or partner areas. Tournament entry, qualifiers, cosmetics, giveaways or special activities may have separate rules or registration requirements, depending on what is confirmed for the event.
Do I need to compete?
No. You can attend VR LAN as a player, spectator, supporter, casual attendee or just someone who wants to be part of the community. There will be plenty to enjoy outside of competition, including the stage show, social areas, freeplay, retro games and arcade-style activities.
Do I need to bring my own headset?
Yes, if you want to play. VR LAN is a bring-your-own-headset event. We do not currently provide headsets for attendees. For freeplay, please bring your own wireless standalone VR headset. If you plan to play, make sure your headset is charged, updated and ready before the event.
What should I bring?
If you plan to play, we recommend bringing: VR headset, controllers, charging cable, battery strap or power bank, wired earphones / IEMs, any required adapters, comfortable clothes, travel plug or charger if needed. LAN environments can be loud and busy, so wired earphones are strongly recommended if you want to hear your game and teammates clearly.
Will there be game showcases or demos?
We're hoping to feature game showcases, demos and playable experiences at VR LAN 2027, with details to be confirmed closer to the event. If you're a studio, developer or brand interested in bringing something to the event, get in touch - we'd love to chat.

Some titles may use online qualifiers, while others may use event-based registration or showcase formats. Confirmed tournament information will be published on the website once available.
Will there be exclusive skins or cosmetics?
Cosmetics are not currently confirmed for VR LAN 2027. Previous events have included exclusive in-game items for ticket purchasers, and we would love to do that again where possible, but it depends on the confirmed games and partners. Please don't buy a ticket expecting a specific cosmetic unless it has been officially announced.
